IVIprovides a diverse set of analytic visualizations, enabling users to view relevant data through different analytic lenses.The visualizations display the results of the integrated analytic engines, combined with analysts' manual supplements (tags or corrections) to those results. Out-of-box, the system includes three core visualizations: pie/bar entity chart, network, and timeline. However, as with its engines, IVI's visualizations can be supplemented to meet your organization's unique analytic needs.
Entity Extraction/Tag View
IVI's pie and bar charts display the entity extraction results (i.e., key people, places, organizations, or other important concepts within a specified document set).
The size of the pie slice represents the frequency at which the entity was referenced, thereby visually highlighting the concepts that may warrant further investigation and enabling the user to
find and review only those documents that specifically reference a concept of interest.
Multiple-entity visualization and underlying document references are supported through "Multiscape" views, which allows users to gauge the frequency of occurrence of a multivariate query.
Essentially, this enables visualization of the Boolean operators "and", "or", and "not" within the context of up to four extracted entities.
Timeline View
IVI's timeline visualization displays the temporal distribution of an entity or set of entities. Timeline analysis gives the user a quick and important understanding of the historical roots of the situation in question as well as the patterns of interaction between entities over time. Any node on a Timeline can be traced back to the source data.
Network View
IVI's Entity Network visualization displays relationships between a set of entities (key actors, actions, objects).
